Únete a Leave No Trace en Capitol Reef Field Station, UT - 13-15 de noviembre de 2025

Cada año, seleccionamos cuidadosamente los espacios al aire libre que requieren nuestro cuidado y atención colectivos. Al designarlos como Destacados, convocamos a la comunidad local a unirse a la iniciativa "No Deje Rastro" y a generar un impacto significativo que pueda revitalizar y proteger estos lugares especiales donde nos recreamos, disfrutamos de la compañía mutua y mejoramos nuestra salud física, mental y emocional.

La estación Capitol Reef Field Station ha sido seleccionada como centro de atención de 2025 de la campaña Leave No Trace. El Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Team estará en Capitol Reef Field Station del 13 al 15 de noviembre, colaborando con los anfitriones y socios en una variedad de programas que incluyen proyectos de administración, talleres y divulgación comunitaria.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15:

Volunteer Stewardship Project, 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Fremont River Trail, Capitol Reef National Park (near the Gifford House)

Join Leave No Trace, the Capitol Reef Field Station, and the National Park Service for a fun and rewarding, hands-on volunteer project focused on protecting and maintaining the natural beauty of Capitol Reef National Park. Volunteers will assist with light trail maintenance, trail brushing and related restoration tasks. Volunteers will also get an introduction to Leave No Trace principles, the importance of public land stewardship, and learn how simple actions can help protect our parks for generations to come.

Important information:
– Bring water, snacks, sun protection, and dress for the weather.
– Long pants and closed-toed shoes required.
– Tools & materials provided; please bring work gloves if you have them.
– Work may entail bending, light lifting and a short walk from the meeting spot.
– Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
– Advance sign-up encouraged.

Whether you are new to Leave No Trace or consider yourself an expert, join us for this interactive game night to gauge your knowledge of Leave No Trace practices and principles while learning tips and techniques for protecting Capitol Reef and all your favorite outdoor spaces.
