April is Earth Month, a great opportunity for everyone to renew their commitments to the planet we share. Leave No Trace offers resources and advice to help you do just that!
Plan a Spring Adventure
Experiences in nature bring personal joy and can also inspire a sense of shared planetary stewardship. Here are three simple steps to make your next outing enjoyable and sustainable.
Get Ready to #LeaveNoTrash
Our annual cleanup campaign produces impressive results. In 2022, we removed over 3,800 pounds of litter. In 2023, our community took it even further, clearing 10,000 pounds of trash from the outdoors. And in 2024, thanks to the power of people like you, we collected over 40 tons of trash—but we’re not stopping there. This year, we’re facilitating a University Challenge across college campuses and encouraging grassroots cleanups from coast to coast.
Reusable Cleanup Kits on Sale
Perfect for participating in a community cleanup or just bringing on your next outdoor adventure, our cleanup kits include a water-resistant, reusable, and washable trash bag with a buckle closure, hearty Leave No Trace-branded work gloves, and two sweet stickers—all for just $10.95, a 30% savings through April 11th.
