The Subaru/Leave No Trace Traveling Teams serve as the mobile education arm of the Leave No Trace organization, fulfilling this role since 1999 thanks to support from Subaru of America and other partners. The Teams, consisting of two educators each, conduct hands-on educational trainings, workshops and outreach programs for adults and children of all ages and backgrounds.
Educational programs range from thirty-minute workshops to two-day intensive, field-based courses in all environments. Additionally, the Teams conduct Spotlights, three-day stewardship, outreach, and education-focused activations across the country, and they lead programs at Hot Spots, targeted multi-day projects at sites experiencing severe impacts.
