Partner with Leave No Trace to amplify your impact, engage your community, and help ensure a sustainable future for the places we all love.

Community Partnerships are an integral component of the Leave No Trace movement. This diverse network includes nonprofit organizations, small businesses, education providers, and many others. Together, they help spread the Leave No Trace message and encourage responsible recreation in outdoor spaces—from our backyards to the backcountry.

Community Partnerships directly support Leave No Trace’s cutting-edge research, ever-growing collection of free online courses, and consistent community activation. In turn, Leave No Trace provides Community Partners with tools to amplify Leave No Trace and share critical skills. Collectively, our Community Partners reach over 11 million people each year.

For every dollar contributed to Leave No Trace, $0.83 directly supports research, training, and programs. The remaining $0.17 is put towards the administrative needs to sustain Leave No Trace's publicly accessible resources.

Hiking Hound Adventures, LLC is proud to be a Leave No Trace Community Partner, integrating their research-backed principles into all of our outdoor education programs. Through this partnership, we've had access to high-quality training materials, resources, and the latest research on minimizing our impact in natural spaces. Offering Level One Instructor Courses has expanded our reach far beyond our local community– we've had participants from across the U.S. and internationally, all eager to bring Leave No Trace ethics into their own outdoor spaces. The ongoing support from Leave No Trace has been invaluable, reinforcing our mission of conservation and stewardship. We're grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to inspire more ethical adventures worldwide!

Responsible outdoor recreation is central to our mission at Nevada Outdoor School. Our Partnership with Leave No Trace has helped us develop effective programs that connect people with our natural world and inspire pro-environmental behaviors. As a Leave No Trace Gold Standard Youth Program, our Community Partnership has helped us to better evaluate the effectiveness of our youth-focused programs to ensure our next generation of land stewards have the motivation, knowledge, and skills to enjoy and explore the outdoors responsibly.

Partnering with Leave No Trace has been a natural extension of our core values at Golden Mountain Guides. It not only reinforces our commitment to stewardship and responsible recreation, but it also gives us a powerful way to communicate that message to our clients and community. It's one more way we show that guiding isn't just about adventure, it's about protecting the places that make those adventures possible.

A Community Partnership with Leave No Trace has been a great benefit to our workforce and our community. Our marketing department has utilized the press kit to share our mission and the parallel mission of Leave No Trace. We also use Community Partner resources in our trainings and as part of our educational library. We are even expanding our trainings to include our community with the Outdoor Film Festival in La Crosse, WI, to share Leave No Trace ethics and how they impact WisCorps and the communities we serve. We look forward to a long-term partnership between Leave No Trace and WisCorps!
